From Auckland:
Take State Highway 16 west from the city.
Pass through Kumeu, and Waimauku.
Approximately 8 km north of Waimauku turn into Rimmer Road on your left.
Our sign is at the intersection.
Follow Rimmer Rd for approximately 4km then turn left into the Forestry entry.
Again our sign is at the intersection. Continue on this gravel road down the hill and The Sandpit entry is on the right hand side.
